Get started: Travel to Sapa’s taxi take you to Hanoi Railway Station for the night train to get to Laocai Station. Sleep on the train.


1st day: Sapa – Cat Cat – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van  (B,L,D)

06h00: Picked up at Lao Cai Railway station  early in the morning by bus. Copy of DSC_0641.JPG

07h00: Arrive at Sapa and have a breakfast

09h30: Walk around Sapa and then start trekking to visit a village of the Black H’Mong (Lao Chai San). Go though hillsides along Muong Hoa river. Cross the river by a suspension bridge to reach Lao Chai village. Take the paths across the paddy fields to get to the 3rd village of the Dzay minority (TaVan village)

15h00: Arrive in Ta Van and stay the night at a Dzay family in this village.

(Picnic lunch on the way and dinner at the family)


2nd day: Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan – Ban Ho (B,L,D)DSC_0016.JPG

08h00: Get up early in the morning to enjoy the daily life of the ethnic minorities in the village and have a breakfast

09h30: Take the road get to a village located at the foot of Hoang Lien range via bamboo forests. Visit a waterfall and a rattan bridge. After the village, get down to the river, cross it and keep going to Su Pan village for 2 minorities – The H’Mong and the Red Dzao. Get off the road to go down hill to Ban Ho village.

16h00: Arrive in Ban Ho village and overnight at Ban Ho with a Tay family who have houses on stilts.

3rd day: Ban Ho – Nam Toong – My Son – Thanh Phu (B,L,D)

08h00: Get up early in the morning for fresh air and peaceful daily life of the people. New Image4.JPG

09h00: Leave the village for a hard day. Walk uphill to a smallest and almost untouched village of the Red Dzao (Nam Toong). Get down to the river and go up to My Son to visit the Xa Pho people.

14h00: Arrive in Thanh Phu where you spend the night at a Tay family.

(Picnic lunch on the way and dinner with the local family)


4th day: Thanh Phu – Su Pan – Sapa (B,L,D)

09h00: Breakfast at Thanh Phu village

10h00: Walk back to Su Pan village where to take a car back to Sapa. On the way back, visit the ancient stone circle (stones decorated with ancient carvings which are said to have described the life of the people lost in the mists of prehistory)

12h30: Arrive in Sapa and check in hotel.

(Lunch at Su Pan and dinner in Sapa)


5th day: Sapa – Lao Cai and back to Hanoi (B,L,D)

Breakfast, free to go around and explore the town . Lunch and check out the hotel

17h00: Leave sapa for laocai Station by bus in the afternoon. Dinner in Lao Cai and take the train back to Hanoi and arrive in Hanoi round 5:00 AM. The end of tour.
